Beastlord: A great fighty character for a cheap pricetag. Granted he's only LD8, but that's as good as it gets unless you want to spend big on the Doombull. I give this guy Chaos Armor, Great Weapon, and MoSlaanesh. His main job is to be where ever one extra point of LD will help the most. I've found it's a bad idea to throw him into one of the Beast Herds. They then lose some of their tactical ability (i.e. the flee reaction, or their 'throw-away' status), and it has rarely ended good. He most often accompanies the Bestigor in the center of the battle line.

Wargor: This Applies to lists under 2,000 points:
So far my plan has been to keep this guy as cheap as possible in order to get more beasties in the list. I only equip him with Heavy Armor, Great Weapon, and Mark of Chaos Undivided. That keeps his points cost just under 70, which is a good deal for the damage he can deal out. I'm afraid to invest any more in him due to his rediculously low Leadership. As soon as I shell out for some nice magic items, he'll be getting run down every game. It may not be a bad idea to give him the Chaos Armor, but for now he's alright. There really aren't any good tactics that beyond putting him where you need to punch to discuss. I generally just put him in a big Beast Herd where he fills the role of a second, more powerful, unit champ. That also keeps my opponent from lowering the Herd's Leadership by killing the unit champ.

Wargor - BSB: Again, I try to keep this guy as cheap as possible to be effective. He gets Heavy Armor, MoSlaanesh (so he can join the Bestigor), and a War Banner. With that minimal equipment, he costs only 2 points less than the Beastlord! There are other things I would like to try with this guy, most notably the Beasts Banner, but for now he's been effective like this.

Bray Shaman: My earlier predictions about this guy proved well founded. He is most effective as a scroll caddy. I've tried and tried, but I just cannot make him work as a level 2. Even against a DE army with absolutely no anti-magic, I could barely get a spell off. My luck with magic is just too pathetic. His current armament is Bray Staff, MoCU, and 2 Dispel Scrolls. His job in the game is to skulk around and not die, which he isn't very good at I might add!

FUTURE IDEAS/CONSIDERATIONS
Doom Bull: This fellow shows some promise. Leadership 9 is a bonus as long as I can keep my other troops in close proximity. Making other Minotaur Core choices means my list will have well over 1,000 points of core troops as well. He's also a great fighter, and one sweet model! I'm very eager to give this guy a go. I've recently written up the list I'll use, now I just have to build/convert the model to my liking!

Shaggoth Champion: A very intriguing idea, but at quite a price tag. I really like the fluff behind the idea of using this guy a the army general. A ton of beasts following this guy into battle somehow appeals to me. Couple him with a Chaos Giant, and you've got some really intimidating monsters on yer side. I may give it a try as I have the model, but it'll be a while.
